The Axial Technology team actively partners with our business colleagues to deliver cutting-edge technology capabilities to fulfil AstraZeneca’s bold ambition of delivering life changing medicines to patients. Our ambition is to provide best-in-class expertise and leadership in technological solutions and Information Delivery that empowers our colleagues in the field and accelerates and improves strategic decision-making for a diverse range of partners. The team engages with some of the most exciting business areas within AstraZeneca and is faced with solving for a variety of complex business and IT challenges.

Job Summary:

The Associate consultant will be responsible in providing support to the Architects and Business Stakeholders in delivering Changes and Bug fixes. Their responsibility will include the documentation, support and project delivery to the capabilities within their area. They will be responsible for supporting the solution delivery (high level design, linked to the business requirements, configuration of the system and any functional design definitions).

Key Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge in business domain related to SAP capability.
• Good knowledge on integration aspects and configuration dependencies within SAP.
• Project delivery - They will use their knowledge and experience to ensure the best solution is delivered to meet AZ requirements while utilizing S/4 Fit to Standard functionality.
• Solution documentation –will be responsible for the appropriate documentation of the solution they are responsible for. This will mean there is a clearly documented understanding of the solution its dependencies and links to other processes, allowing future changes to be accurately assessed and implemented with no/minimal impact to the operational business.
• Stakeholder Analysis & Change - Works and collaborates with other areas of Axial. Actively build and maintain relationships according to individual stakeholder needs and levels of influence. 
• Support improvement – provide input to improvements of not just the technical solution but also the approach and ways of working in supporting the business capabilities.
• Business Needs Identification - Operates at a functional level in assessing and defining business need and areas for improvement. Actively monitors and identifies capability gaps and proposes potential solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a Team
• Strong communication and presentation skills, a keen eye for detail.
• Strong team player able to work across the teams and communicate in business and IT terms
• Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open mindset
• Self-motivated, demonstrated personal credibility and positive energy
• Able to think out of the box, thrive in ambiguous and stressful situations

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate from reputed University

Desirable 

• SAP Certified in SAP S/4HANA.
• Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and of competitor activity, on a particular architecture and Information Management
• Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working
